How do I make a reservation?

How can I make a reservation without a credit card ?
To make a reservation without a credit card, call Les Ecureuils campsite on 05 58 09 80 00. We will send you a contract which you will return to us with the payment method chosen for the deposit.
What are the means of payment?
Bank cards, cash, holiday vouchers, cheques, bank transfer.
Is it possible to book a mobile home for one night?
In July and August bookings are made at least on a weekly basis, with arrivals and departures on Saturdays and Sundays.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay is required to validate the reservation.
When is the balance due for mobile homes and furnished tents?
The balance is due 30 days before your arrival.
Is the campsite VACAF approved?
What are the reception hours?
Out of season: 9am – 12pm / 2pm – 5.30pm
In July and August: 9am – 12.30pm / 2pm – 7pm or 8pm
Until what time can we arrive at the campsite?
If you arrive after the opening hours of the reception, please inform us. We will leave the keys with the campsite caretaker.
Is it compulsory to wear a wristband?
Yes, a bracelet will be given to each participant on arrival so that they can be identified by our security staff. The bracelet also gives you access to the aquatic area as well as to the children’s entertainment.
Are minors allowed?
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Does the campsite have a launderette?
We have two launderettes, including washing machines and dryers (washing machine 4 € and 5 € / dryer 4 € and 4.50 €).
Is there a ticket machine at the campsite?
No, the nearest ATM is in Biscarrosse Bourg.
Are swimming shorts allowed in the pools?
Swimming shorts are not allowed in the entire aquatic area (swimming trunks must be worn).
Are there shops on the campsite?
We have a bakery/press which also sells basic necessities, the shop Le Lolo which sells beach articles, regional products and offers rental services (bikes, canoes, baby kit, planchas, sheets & cloths…) and a beauty salon.
Is the campsite close to the cycle tracks?
The campsite is located 5 metres from the cycle tracks.
Does the campsite have playgrounds for children?
A playground has been set up in the campsite for children.
Are pets allowed on the campsite?
Animals are not allowed in our rentals.
Can we rent bicycles at the campsite?
The Le Lolo shop on the campsite car park offers bike hire.
We have 2 vehicles, can we park it inside the campsite?
You can leave only one vehicle inside. The second car will have to remain parked in the outside car park provided for this purpose.
Is there wifi access to the campsite?
Wifi is available throughout the campsite. Buy your internet package directly online by selecting the “MediaWifi A la Carte” network.
Is the campsite quiet?
Camping Les Ecureuils is a family campsite where silence is de rigueur during the night. A night watchman makes sure that peace and quiet is respected.
Are visitors accepted at the campsite?
Visitors are allowed under the responsibility of their host, after being registered at the reception. They will be given a visitor’s bracelet.
How far from the campsite is the lake?
The campsite is located 500 m from the lake.
How far from the campsite is the ocean?
The campsite is 10 km from the ocean.
Until what time can we enter the campsite with our cars?
The gates are closed between 11pm and 7am so that there is no noise in the campsite.
The rental cars
Does my baby count as a participant?
Yes, babies are counted as part of the accommodation’s capacity. The maximum number of people indicated for the cottage must not exceed the capacity indicated in the rental description.
Ex: We will not be able to accept you in a rental for 6 people if you are 7 people in total.
Is bedding provided in the mobile homes and furnished tents?
You will find pillows, duvets and mattress protectors for all the mobile homes and tents.
Are the kitchens in the mobile homes and tents equipped?
You will have at your disposal hotplates, microwave, fridge, dishwasher (only in the Premium mobile homes) and crockery for the number of people provided in the mobile home.
Do the rentals have equipment for babies?
No, but you can rent a baby kit (bed, high chair, bathtub) at the Le Lolo shop located on the campsite car park.
Is the accommodation air-conditioned?
All mobile homes are air-conditioned. Furnished tents have portable air conditioning.
Is there television in the mobile homes?
All mobile homes are equipped with televisions. Only the furnished tents do not have televisions.
From what time is accommodation available?
The accommodation is available from 3pm.
Is it possible to pitch a tent on a rental pitch?
Is it necessary to prepare a deposit for the accommodation on arrival?
Yes, a deposit of 500 € by cheque for the rental, 70 € by cheque for cleaning and 20 € in cash for the campsite access card.
Is an inventory of the mobile home or furnished tent given to me on the day of arrival?
Yes, we then leave it up to you to check that everything corresponds. Once completed, the inventory must be brought back to the reception.
Do I have to make an appointment for the inventory of fixtures on departure?
On your arrival, we will let you know the time of the appointment for the inventory of fixtures on departure (between 9am and 10am).
What does the inventory of fixtures consist of on departure?
We come to check the state of the accommodation and collect the keys. The deposit is to be collected at reception.
Are cleaning costs included in the rentals?
Cleaning costs are not included in mobile homes and furnished tents.
If I take the cleaning charges, what do I have to do?
You must still empty the rubbish bins, wash the dishes and remove the disposable mattresses.
What are the restaurant’s opening hours?
In July and August, the restaurant is open every day from 9am to midnight.

Does the restaurant offer take-away meals?
